4.How Many Treatments do I need?

Very rapid results are seen with traditional Chinese medicine for recent injury and trauma, and a few other disorders.

Satisfactory response is often seen in the early stages of problems and in prevention.

However, when conditions are chronic, or have been unresponsive to a variety of Western treatments, the condition is likely to be complicated and will require the highest levels of diagnostic skill and therapy.

In these cases, much more effort needs to be made by both physician and patient to achieve meaningful results.

Other forms of Oriental medicine, such as herbal medicines, exercise, and meditational practice are often necessary in addition to acupuncture and moxabustion.

Integrated Western medicine is also frequently appropriate. Obviously, capability in all of these areas is required.

In addition, an ongoing relationship and treatment is necessary in these complex situations, just as with Western specialists who treat chronic disease.

6. How can you tell who is a good TCM/acupuncturist ?

There is a very simple way: Check these teachers themselves. Because they have practiced on themselves for a long period of time, they are your sample in the future if you receive their course. A good one should be:
1. They look much younger than their real age.
2. They look very health; they have very bright or shining eyes, their hairs are very dark or very heavy color, their face are shiny, their lids are red and moisture without any makeup, they don’t smell wired……..
3. They have a very stable and calm mood, easy going.
If you find good teacher, don’t miss the chance. There is a saying: easy to be a TCM doctor, but it is very hard to be a good one; you have a good book, it doesn’t mean that you can understand it well or master it. You won’t have too much chance to meet a good one especially in Montreal. If you find one, try to get closer to them, receive their treatments, ask them questions, or take their course. They have a very special understanding about human body, you will benefit form his knowledge for you whole life.

7.Acupuncture and Tradition Chinese Medicine-TCM

Since a long period of time, there is a misunderstanding about Tradition Chinese Medicine-TCM. It is : Tradition chinese Medicine equal to acupuncture. Actually, there are 5 categories in TCM: Diet therapy, massage, herbology, acupuncture and Moxa, Qigong and meditation. TCM > acupuncture.
Traditional Chinese medicine studies human physiology and pathology, it is indicated as well to the theory and practice of diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases. It views the human body not only as an integrated whole, but also inseparable from nature. Therefore, it studies, through synthesis and analysis, the interaction between the dynamic activities of various ports of the human body and their relationship to the external environment. Traditional Chinese medicine elucidates the fundamental laws of life processes from a macrocosmic perspective and thus serves medical care and the prevention of diseases.
Through clinical study and practice over thousands of years, Chinese medicine eventually into an efficient and unique medical system. It is characterized by the concept of holism and the concept of basing treatment on the differentiation of syndrome which closely unites principle with method, prescriptions with drugs, internal medication with a variety of modified therapies. Besides its wealth of clinical experiences and unique therapeutic principles, however, the vitality of traditional Chinese medicine should be attributed mainly to the influence of ancient China' s dialectical concepts. The theories of yin yang and five elements are at the core of this relatively comprehensive theoretical system of medicine. Practice has proven that these dialectical materialist ideas, though imperfect in some respects, are nonetheless guiding scientific principles that conform to certain objective laws of physical evolution. Adherence to these principles has ensured the continuous development of traditional Chinese medicine as a branch of natural science.

7. Do you server massage?
We get a lot of phone calls asking this question. Here is the answer: No. We do not have any "so called" "massage ". We more concern about the public health. We believe that Traditional Chinese Medicine will bring a lot benefit to our public. Here is a serious place for people who is seeking health improvements.

8. What is Moxa?

Moxa is short for "Moxibustion", it is a kind of herb, very common used in expelling cold in our body and warm up meridian.  Normally it is added to the end of needle and lighted up to burn. Some moxa product has very big smoke which has not been modified and are more affection, some without smoke which has been modified. Because the smoke, some people misunderstand it is Marijuana. IT IS NOT MARIJUANA. Which clinic can afford to burn Marijuana to expelling cold?

Some man misunderstand "Moxibustion" as "Masturbation". We feel insulted when they call us ask about sex relative service.

9.Why such a successful business without a good renovation?
Tradition Chinese Medicine and Taoism are the same family, their practitioners don't care too much any other thing but health, renovation is not that important compare with clients's health. They would like to spent more time to study clients's cases, practice QiGong, and etc. Plus, here is for serious people who seeks health improvements, is not for people who look for fun.

10. It is true that your clinic can heal so many kind of ailments? You have a cure for every ailment in the universe?

This is the amazing point of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), if the practitioner made a right differentiation, find the right pattern for the patient, the treatment works. TCM heal people by different patterns, not by a cure for an ailment.
